Review: The year 1989 to be remembered for giving us a true milestone in Odia film history
i.e. "Bhukha" which was directed by Sabyasachi Mohapatra & brilliantly performed by
all the actors & actresses. The story wasset around the lifes of "Bajinas"(Drummers) of western
Orissa. The movie mainly telling their story of low socio economic status. The backbone of the
movie is its strong story line and the way the story has been told. It is definitely one of the best
creation of the director Sabyasachi Mohapatra. the director got full co-operation of the artists.
The performance by the lead actor Sadhu Meher is brilliant. Not any of the moment he detached
from the character he played.His role to be remembered for a very long time & it definitely
inspire the upcoming young actors & actresses. The lead actress Swati Roy done justice to her
character. Sarat Pujari as a bad man performed great.
The movie was highly acclaimed Internationally. It has won International Jury
award in Gijon International Film Festival 1990. It also won National award.
So if you get a chance don't forget to watch it. I am sure you will never be disappointed.

Copy culture is not uncommon in film industries. Spread ed
all over the world all the "Woods" have affected by it more or less.
But what unique about the Odia film industry(Ollywood) ?
OK if you are a movie buff and watching so many of South movies
then you can point out the difference. About 70-80% movies releasing
in Ollywood are direct copy or a mixture of many southern movies.
So what keeping us to copy/remake the south?
1. It is easy, the director and the writer do not need to do much as the
story is pre-told & the direction also.2. As most of the odia audience are from villages & very less know about the
south movies & it is very easy to fool them.
3. There is no problem of copy wright (as the south industry really don't care
about what going here).
4. And finally the south movie DVDs can be brought at Rs.10 from the footpath.

Review: I have watched this movie with two of my friends. We did not have any great
expectation with the movie. After watching this what we get?" Never try to do this again please"
What the movie all about> It is a complete mesh of Hollywood movie E.T. & Bollywood movie KMG.
It pretend to be Ollywood's first Sci-fi movie but they may have forgot that in the year 1985
first Sci-fi movie of ollywood named "Babula" had released and it was directed by Sadhu Meher.
It has a almost same plot& story but it's direction & whole movie is far better & advanced than
"KDAB"
OK now concentrating on the movie. the director done a cheap job here & effect can be seen in
the whole movie. The story is like summations of some broken links. Lead actor & actress failed
to prove themselves. Sabyasachi's acting is less natural but mostly reminding of Hritik's role in KMG.
But that is not his fault & the whole responsibility goes to the Director. Archita looking beautiful
in the movie but nothing more.Other co-actors & actress also not done a memorable job.
The alien is looking like some creepy shit wrapped with electric cables. Except the title song
all others are very irritating.
At last if you want some peace of mind never watch this alone(you may break yourself)but
watch with some of your pals{you all may enjoy it as a great comedy}. better watch the Hollywood
blockbuster E.T. or the Bollywood remake of it KMG.

Review:- After a long time i have watched a good love story in Odia.
Director S. Murlidharan had done a great job in his directorial debut.
The storyline is great , the acting is great and the most energetic part
of the movie that is the music are great. Although it is first
project of sarthak music they put full confidence on the director &
the result is this musical treat.
The acting & on screen chemistry of Anubhab & archita is remarkable.
The camera work is far ahead of other odia movies & so the picture quality.
Rali Nanda done a fare job. Except some scene the whole movie can be enjoyable.
So if you not watched this movie I recommended you to give it a chance.

Review:- Not much to tell about the story. It just another melodrama circling around 4 primary
character- 1. Archita
2. Anubhav
3. A COW
4. A Billy(male goat) or like that
well well well as many of you know the nick name of our Director Sanjay babu!!
Ok for the poor peoples who don't know that is "Gimmick Bhai".
You can ask why the hell he is called

What you see common factors in between these?
In all the above movies Bhaina has used some weird things like- Kata hatara karamati,
50 Bamanakara karamati, Kankala ra tabahi & lastly Alien ra fight & nacha.
So bhaina in the movie also tried to put a variety of character like a Cow & a Male got.
These two can fight can dance can sing, so what the require of Anubhab & Archita? (Hahaha... just jocking). The story and direction are Awful.
Acting is just like some stupids acting for first time! Why the hell so brilliant & mature actors like Anubhab & Raimohan taking so shit roles? Is it for only money? Archita done a fine job except the fight sequence where she beats the bad mens black & blue.Our sincere request to her please don't try this in future. How these peoples can make this type of Crap? & you know we are also watching it!!! Bhaina should leave movie directing now & start doing Magic shows!!!
Editing is very poor & many times link broke between scenes. Except the title song non of the other songs appreciable. Just want to ruin your 2& half hour ? Take some tranquilizer & get some
sleep at home instead.

Story:- Akash(Satya) is a well educated village boy living with his mother(played by Anita das)
& his lady love (Sonali). Highly influenced by
his father & lines from our National emblem" satyameb Jayate"

he promised to stick with TRUTH.As time passes & our Hero have to get
a Gov. job as told by father of his lady love.
So satya decided to go to Bhubaneswar and get a Gov. job for him self.

his uncle (Bijoy Mohanty) who runs a Dhaba in there & very pleased to help him.
After many try when satya
failed to get a job his uncle advised him to drive auto.
The next part of movie is about Satya's fight against
the Home minister & MLA(Kuna tripathy).
Passes the movie losses its base.Acting of Akash & Bijoy Mohanty markable but other co-actors not done a fare job. It is a male oriented movie so there is very little scope for the two leading lady Anita Das & Sonali to shows their magic (although having a short role Sonali failed to act!!!). Major disappointment comes from the Evil characters of the movie. It seems Director failed to utilize the potential of Kuna Tripathy as a result it seen as a major hole in the character making. There are some light moment & thanx to Harihara Mohapatra aka Hari for that. Songs are very choppy and adding just some filling effect in the movie. I can say the whole movie is a directorial failure & Mr.Basant Sahu should rectify his mistakes in his next ventures. Finally it is just a average time pass movie & never go to watch it with high expectation.
